And so he was - starting CF! 11 of Sully's players, in 10 years, have made the Bigs. Box: https://www.mlb.com/gameday/rockies...box#game_state=final,game_tab=box,game=491594
Scored the winning run. Led off the bottom of 9th with a double. Sac flied over to 3rd, then sacrificed home.
I am wondering what the Cards are doing here. They are not that far out of first in a division that may have the reigning WS champs, but that division has looked really bad so far. Do they think that HB can get them going for a playoff run or are they showcasing him for trade bait?
Dexter Fowler went on the DL. He's the temporary replacement. Not sure what they will do if he does really well the next couple weeks (had 3 hits last night).
Still a bit early to call Dexter Fowler Wally Pipp II, but a really good first impression for Harrison. Those three hits were 3 for 4 with a walk. NICE!
A nice little paragraph on Alonso's July... https://www.milb.com/milb/news/milb-announces-july-players-of-the-month/c-246997052/t-185364810
We got to see the St.Lucie Mets vs Tampa Yankees Thurs/Fri nights in Tampa. Of course everybody there wanted to see Tebow. He was not in the line-up Thursday. They have him in LF--he made all the routine plays that came his way, but had nothing hit his way that he really had to go get or lay out for. He had one oppo hit in the two games we saw. He had one pinch hit AB grounding out Thursday. Pete Alonzo is also on that team. He was DH on Thursday and played 1st base on Friday. Pete is still quite impressive at the plate. He had 3 hits in the 2 games but he absolutely squared up every ball he put in play. Two shots to the wall in dead center (408').

Just saw a report that Tebow is going to the Mets preseason training camp. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2018/02/19/tim-tebow-will-play-in-major-leagues-mets-gm-says.html
Here's a update on Faedo: https://www.freep.com/story/sports/...-tigers-alex-faedo-spring-training/330320002/
Haven't heard anything about Whitsen. Think Hudson Randall had very brief stint in pro ball. He was a student assistant coach working with the pitchers in either 2015 or 2016 I believe. He was also at the alumni game recently.
I don't have any details, but MiLB shows a couple of brief stints... Hudson Randall Karsten Whitson Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
I think Karsten battled injuries for a few years and had a couple more surgeries. Pretty sure his baseball career is over.
