Langford has another good night 3-5, scored 3 time and hit a 3 run bomb with 2 outs in the 9th to tie the game, Rangers win in 10. Bing Videos
Yesterday, Wed 8/14, Jonathan India hit 2 HR, 4 RBI on 3 for 5. Not bad. Pete Alonso went 4 for 4 with 3 RBI and 1 HR. Harrison Bader went 1 for 1. That is 3 Gators combined at 8 for 10 with 3 HRs and 7 RBI.
Jud Fabian's up to AAA. His first game was very on-brand for him: 0-3, 3K, 2BB, (edit: SB) while playing CF and making a nice-looking diving catch after hesitating off the bat: https://www.mlb.com/video/jud-fabian-s-diving-catch-x5803
Really cool seeing Bader and Alonso hanging together in the dugout as one of them scores a game tying run and another drives in a sacrifice run wearing orange and blue.
Soto is the Yankees #1 priority but if that falls through seen speculation they would go after Pete. Who knows what'll happen but if so he'd become the #1 enemy in Queens as soon as the ink was dry.
Soto—I don’t know why anyone would want that cancer in their dugout/clubhouse. Besides, his defense is nothing special and his offense only impresses him.
I’m not a fan of Soto’s antics either but I haven’t heard about him being a problem in the locker room or anything like that
Let me see how I can reasonably say what I’ve been told— In the dugout and clubhouse- Juan Soto = Alex Rodriguez…..
Guy that talented being traded twice isn't a coincidence. With that being said he is damn good. Back in the day George Steinnbrenner wouldn't have let him get away, just don't wanna see another elite talent on the Dodgers.
The MLB winter meetings are underway and former Gators slugger Pete Alonso is a popular topic. Alonso is a free agent and after the Mets signed Juan Soto, his future in New York remains unclear. His agent Scott Boras discusses the latest "Pete Alonso is opening to listening to a lot of teams, and has been doing so. His experiences with the Mets were extraordinary, both for them and him." - Scott Boras on Alonso's free agency pic.twitter.com/qcL2G0Wpr4
