Former GATOR Players

Saw an article this week about Harrison Bader getting dialed in for ST with the NYY—his picture in the article says he’s working hard and ready to get after it.

It’s great to see that kind of enthusiasm from our Gators in the professional ranks.

 

I am confused. What is an ST? I don't know that position and I don't think it refers to pitching because he does not pitch. Trying to think if it can refer to a pinch batter but I can't figure that out.

Maybe short for Stupid Trade?

Surprised this wasn't posted from Thursday, Gator on Gator crime. No idea but Pete sure seems to stare down Puk while he rounded first base, hope it's just competitiveness.

 

^ Cool for Alonso, but Mets still suck. Didn't know Puk was now on the Marlins. Feel bad for him.

Pete is a weird dude. He mentioned being bullied in hs and college in an interview a while back. Quite possible he’s not too fond of some of his former teammates.

No idea about that but I could see it, on the other hand Pete could literally bench press and throw anyone into the garbage. He's worn UF stuff previously so wanna say he's loyal. Gonna get paid a lotta $$$$ very soon, as a Tampa resident hope he spends that here.
