Alex Faedo is on FS1 now vs Cleveland

 

I didn’t realize Faedo was out last year after TJ surgery, plus 2020 Covid year, meaning he hasn’t pitched for just about two years.

Signed a $7.4 million one year contract and arbitration eligible the next two years. Will likely continue to climb next two years until he can sign a monster long term contract in 2025. Could be 10 years at $30 million per year in 2025. $300 million contract is a possibility if he keeps putting up the stats like this year.

 

He is hitting over .280 in today’s game plus has some of the best power in the game. He has even turned into a decent 1B.

 

Pete is having an outstanding RBI season. The all time record (Hack Wilson, 191) is probably unreachable unless the game changes a lot.

 

Alonso had two more jacks last night and an RBI double today. Hitting about .285 with 16 HRs and almost 60 RBIs. A great first half so far.

 

Pete Alanso is hitting well, but more importantly for his future earnings is that he has a huge positive persona. He is lovable. He should be an endorsement goldmine especially playing in NYC.

It is good to be Pete.
