Alonso with a Jack tonight. His first of the year. It is only Game 2 for him as their opening series was cancelled because of COVID. Hitting .375 as of now but still has 3 Ks so he hasn’t cut that down.

 

India went 3-4 including a triple, @WESGATORS.

He is currently hitting .474 with 7 RBIs in 5 games.

 

India was 1-2 with 3 RBI today.

O’Day of UF’s bullpen namesake had a scoreless inning today. ERA still zero on the year through 3 outings.

1. Tied for 7th in MLB with 10 RBIs
2. 27th in OPS despite 0 HRs!!!

India went 1-4 yesterday and got his 11th RBI through 8 games. Obviously not going to continue but that ratio would be a record.

 

Does Hack Wilson still hold the single season record?

 

Yes and no one recently is close. Manny Ramirez holds the “modern day” record at 165. Hack had 191 in 1930. Assuming Hack played in all 154 games, he would have averaged about 1.24 RBIs per game. Insane.

India didn’t play today for whatever reason but his pace was 1.375 RBIs/g.

Dane Dunning went 4IP and gave up 2H and 2BB with 0R. Got the no-decision in a 1-0 loss.

Brady Singer went 5IP and gave up 7H and 0BB with 1ER. Had 6Ks. Took the loss though as there were some unearned runs.

India went 0-2.

 

Alonso destroyed one tonight.

 

I'm a Cubs fan so I've been watching baseballs fly out of Wrigley Field my entire life. It's special any time a ball goes through Waveland and bounces down the cross street.

He threw a CG shutout giving up 2 hits and striking out 15. Hell of an outing.

BUT he also went 2-4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. So yeah, he had a good day...
