I figure the true Top Tier guys have the drive and commitment that will continue anytime they step on the field, can't imagine a Mays or Mantle playing the game anyway but balls to the wall

If it were Mays or Mantle I would love it—there would be no concern—

But those guys are lifetime memories—

Now we deal with the Harper’s, etc.....

With such a short season it will go backwards to 4 man rotations.

Interesting to see how the new extra innings rules will work. I wonder if the visiting team should play for a crooked number or play small ball.

    Lol—

If they plan on using option #2 they’re going to have to re-teach’em bunt and hit & run...;)

Brady made the 60 in KC.

    A.J. made it in Oakland.

Bunting I agree with, but hit and run with first base open to avoid the double play or hit behind the runner from first?

I was talking about the scenario they’ve laid out for extra inning games where they start the inning with a runner on second—bunting to third with no outs or rolling the dice if you have an accomplished hit & run batter and going for the kill—start you runner with your hitter in a do or die mode of hit & run....you know, same principle of get it done just as if suicide squeeze...

    Florida Gators on MLB Rosters

The 2020 MLB season is just around the corner. With a delayed start, the 2020 campaign will be only 60 games with teams reporting to their respective cities to start a three-week spring training-Esque build-up to opening day on July 23 and 24.

To make up for the truncated season and help teams cope with the difficulties of COVID-19, rosters have been expanded to allow up to 60 players that will be available to play this season. That includes a 30-man active roster, 10 players that will travel with the team and be eligible to be activated, and a 20 man taxi squad that will practice at a different site but will not travel with the team.

With players set to report on Wednesday, Gator Country wanted to keep track of all of the former Florida Gators that are on rosters with Major League clubs this summer.

Below is the full list of Gators and the teams they will play for this summer.

Best of luck to Hunter—always want to see any of our guys that have gone through TJ surgery come out able to continue to compete and love the game.
