I agree with @gatorjjh, I think HookSlide23 was saying any pitch that filthy ought to be illegal.... That would strictly be from a hitter’s perspective though—
I watched a few times and was trying to figure it out. I knew the mlb has started calling illegal pitches on guys that have a little hitch or stop in their giddyup (new rule this year?) but didn’t see anything of the sort with faedo. Didn’t think twitter could possibly make any less sense, but here we are again...
saw this note in the Gvl Sun: *Boston Red Sox left-hander Brian Johnson (1-1, 6.43 ERA before the game) pitched three innings in Saturday’s 6-4 loss to the NY Yankees in his first appearance since June 22 after being sidelined by an unspecified, non-baseball-related medical matter. He gave up eight hits and three runs and struck out two. Reliever Matt Barnes suffered the loss. Johnson was activated before the game. He has been limited to just 14 innings this year due to injuries before Saturday.
Mr. Pete appears to have awoken from his slumber. His 3rd in 3 days. A 2 run shot in the bottom of the 1st today to take him to 37 on the year. Get to 50 and he is all but guaranteed ROTY in my opinion!
so is it time to start a separate thread for #20? not seriously but he is blasting the stuffin out of the rock
