saw this in the Gvl Sun from 8/11/18: Sugar Land (Texas) Skeeters — Signed left-handed pitcher Paco Rodriguez, who was playing in the Minnesota Twins farm system since May, but after a 4.62 ERA and 1.43 WHIP with 19 strikeouts over 25 innings at Double-A Chattanooga, he was released earlier this month. Rodriguez is a former second-round pick of the Dodgers in 2012 out of UF but hasn’t pitched in the majors leagues since undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2015.
Woah, didn't realize he had arm sugery. Tough break, best of luck to him. On a different subject, I do like that team name Skeeters. From my time in that area, the name seems appropriate.
