I wonder if any conservatives will call for him to be fired from his job like some liberals did with the Kansas City Chiefs?

do you know who general Kelly or General Mattis are?

Is there a reason you haven't responded to the comment showing how they feel about djt? Are they clowns too?

How can people just write off the feedback from people who are well respected in their fields who all worked closely with djt and all tell you the same thing. Please explain to me how that is just ignored.

I truly cannot comprehend how so much negative feedback from so many republicans who were so close to djt is so disregarded by so many seemingly intelligent people.

How does one just ignore the trail of broken and bankrupt supporters that djt leaves in his wake?

I was speaking based on what I saw. He was an ass clown in that speech and deserves whatever criticism comes his way for that.

As I have already pointed out ON THIS THREAD, his cardinal sin was railing about people being close minded and all or nothing, and then doing the same damn thing himself. Just because you like what he said doesn’t take away the fact that he was very hypocritical.

I just searched the Butkers thread for the word “fired”. No one called for him to be fired and the only use of the word was by people like you who said he was being called to be fired, which no one did.

Not closed minded at all. We know how Trump governs. We know how Biden governs. Burns believes Trump has shown himself to be a divider, his way or the highway kind of guy. And someone like Trump is a true danger to the country. It's not closed minded to advocate Trump's opponent in this scenario.

I did not have this message board in mind when I made that post. This petition demands that Harrison Butker be dismissed from the Kansas City Chiefs and it has 228,101 signatures at the time I am writing this post.

Here is a 100,000 person petition to remove Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the Superman/Batman movie. You can find anything on the internet.

There was no mainstream movement or popular opinion to fire a guy for that speech. More people wanted Tim Tebow out of the NFL for no reason at all.

    Sign the Petition

agree. I don’t think the 28 year old rich, privileged kicker should lose his job for telling women how to live their life to an audience that mostly agreed, but these online petitions are a bit overrated. Actually surprised it’s not more than 225k as that was the big issue last week and the petition itself was talked about by news agencies. And aren’t these petitions open to everyone online of all ages? online polls should also be taken with a grain of salt.

Not in his professional or public life in the past. Care to show any other time when Burns got publicly political in his past? Heck, the Koch Brothers have funded some of Burns' projects in the past.

So please, just one example of Burns being public about his politics in the past before his commencement speech.

I never heard of the guy. He is a self proclaimed “yellow dog democrat”. He is exactly what he says he is. And this boring speech showed that…
