Forbes ranks UF No. 4 among the nation’s best public universities

The magazine also ranked UF among the top university investments in the country
Forbes has named the University of Florida the No. 4 public university in the nation and among the top institutions in the country for return on investment, according to rankings released today.

In lists that include the country’s most renowned educational institutions, UF stood out for its ability “to offer students high earning potential with low debt burdens and a great return on their investment,” according to Forbes. Both the Top 25 Public College list and the Top 25 Colleges with the Highest Payoff list focused on tuition costs, debt burden and earnings potential, and the benefit of attending an excellent public state university.

Great news, especially since there were a lot of predictions that we would drop due to DeSantis/Sasse. Weren't we #6 last year?

Uf is affordable because the Florida taxpayers subsidize a huge amount of the budget. Uf would not be solvent with what they currently charge for tuition. So if you like this model then you should be clamoring for much higher state support for all public education.

college rankings are rear looking. it takes years for decisions made today to impact rankings. glad it is what it is but if we continue to bleed high ranking faculty without being able to replace them with comparable talent, it will degrade over time
