Do you not recognize your freedoms living in the great sunshine state?
When I visited San Diego last year, several California residents chatted with us about how lucky we were to live in Florida.

Fake News. I recently left Florida to come back to North Carolina because there was zero freedom from humidity.

The ostensible validity of the claim isn’t a defense against its offensiveness. Picture the same situation with a wealthy person’s house:

Mr. Lance Convington (of the New Hampshire Covingtons) puts a sign over his property gate: “Welcome to the amazing estate of the most wealthy man in the county.”

Person 1: “Man that is pretty and self aggrandizing.”
Person 2: “Do you realize how much Convington is worth? He’s definitely the richest person in the area!”

The Florida signs are either self aggrandizing or, worse, a tribal war chant.

Mr. Covington's sign would be true if he chatted with several Californians who agreed with him.

    How about this?
The signs might just mean there’s more freedom to do business in Florida.
Biz owners are aware of this fact and Ron D might be proud to advertise this rather obvious point to the rest of the liberal leaders.

If you disagree with dear leader, then "free" does not come into play.

It's a factual statement that DeSantis signs laws that prevent people from doing things he doesn't like.

I'm not surprised liberals would get their panties all bunched and twisted up over something like this. They just love being victims.

Thanks for sharing, I love it.

Instead of putting DeSantis on the signage, I would rather see "Vote Republican." People fleeing the blue slave states should be reminded not to continue to vote for the democratic oppressive party which gave them the policies they are running away from.

I think the signs should be up in all airports in the Free State of Florida too. I'll shoot off an email to Tallahassee recommending this later today.

What wasn't free was the cost of those signs. But hey, who needs small gov when you can troll the libs. That's all we care about

That's just it, the fewer democratic libs in Florida, the better.

Since when is a democratic lib concerned with wasteful government spending? Unlike the federal government, the Free State of Florida is required to be in balance. Actually, the state is carrying a surplus. Your concern for wasteful state spending is hypocritical and frivolous.

Maybe we can get “Don’t New York My Florida” signs in South Florida airports too.

Back in the early 80s, I saw signs like this in Washington State.

    "Don't Californicate Washington"

The signs didn't work, too implicit. Those fleeing California registered and voted democrat. The rest for the beautiful Washington State unfortunately is history.

Saying Vote Republican or Register Republican makes it clear what the incoming people should do when they join the Florida voter rolls.
