What is going on??

 

Walton is assuming we are playing them again in 4 months and doesn’t want to let them see Hightower, and maybe Wallace too.

 

WTH???? Where is Skylar Wallace? Makes NO sense unless she is hurt. Best player in the game.

 

Commentator said Wallace is ill.

 

Wallace is the anchor of our offense. Oh well, we will see who steps up.

 

Posted on another board that Wallace didn't make the trip to California due to illness.

 

Falby didn’t take the bat off her shoulder.

 

Since this is the first quality pitcher and group of hitters we've faced, it could be a tough night. Made even harder without Wallace and even Goddard.

 

Trlicek would not be my first choice - or second, against UCLA.

 

I’m looking forward to see if they adjust at all. Those are some huge strike outs.

 

Burned on the shift

 

You can't play a quality team with only 2 outfielders. Just won't work.

 

Not really a shift. 5 infielders and 2 outfielders, thinking Trlicek will induce all ground balls.

 

Good Lord. UCLA’s left handed lead off hitter hits a line drive to right field and we had shifted defense thinking she couldn’t pull ball. Ball goes to fence and she gets a stand up triple.
