Not officially. Coach just said he needed to concentrate on his class work.

I saw. Weird that his backup at UF (Perkins) transferred from Mizzou.

Right, besides Braun and Whit, that list is guys who were hurt, dismissed, or not playing anyway. Not sure that shows some pattern of the coaches forcing out talent that they should have been retaining.

Thanks for answering my question, Tommy.

Not sure what’s official, but there were multiple articles about him being “dismissed”. Lot’s of hack job writers out there, but I thought he’d been dismissed.

Well, he wasn’t on the depth chart and someone asked about him. Coach said Diwun needed to focus on his school work. I guess he wasn’t academically eligible if he wasn’t going to class. Idk

Not like he was a big loss either way. He had a cool story, and it was easy to root for him, but it’s not like we lost a bunch of production there.

Yea it was too bad. He was a big recruiter for us in that 2018 class. I looked at his JuCo stats and they weren’t that eyepopping either. I guess we all thought he would’ve been more productive than he was. Good luck to him at Temple.

Are you still sticking to we will do as well or comparable to FSU in the portal? Just wondering as without a unbelievable change it won’t be very close. MM and Campbell would have maybe make us 18 or 19 maybe. With the number we needed to pick up being so high, our facilities, our coach, and many other things we should easily be top 10.

I think I defined comparable as us being in the top 5.

If Napier pulled in the HS class Norvell just did you would've castrated him. Norvell has to be a portal winner as he didn't do as well recruiting HS kids

Great athlete without the instincts of a LB. Just wish there was more depth going into next season or we had one or two more coming in from high school. Got a couple of promising portal guys. Hope that's enough. I'm not yet willing to accept a six or seven win season for '23. I was a student through the '77, '78 and '79 seasons. Don't want to live through that again.

Campbell wouldn’t help anything. He have to be good to make a difference .

I love how people post their demands and let us all know what they’ll accept, as if it has any bearing on what’s actually going to happen.

Last year we could’ve won 8-10 games if a few key players had stepped up. Next year, I just don’t see it. 24 could be interesting though.we have some young talent to build on.

With all the turnover, I really have no idea what to expect. I won’t be too surprised with anything from terrible to good. Certainly not expecting Atl or a championship run at this point. Like you’ve mentioned before, I just don’t see a game changer on either side of the ball right now. Always hopeful though.
