Princewell is not a transfer. He is a High School senior. Chose Nebraska instead of coming to UF and competing with his brother for the same rush end spot.

Why consider this when you can bash the coaches instead?

    Princewill’s Princely’s younger brother.

Gouraige made up his mind a few weeks ago because he didn’t really like to take classes. He wanted to finish it out in the bowl game. I guess the coaches wanted his backup to get some experience because Gouraige got limited snaps.

Oof! Apparently the backup was not ready for primetime considering how poorly the line performed in that game.

What these destinations confirm to me is that these moves are out of necessity and to places they would not have wanted out of high school. They are finding their level of play now that college ball is a business with NIL, and nobody is going to get NIL for being a non-contributor. Nobody gets to ride on a 4 year scholarship any more: one year rides only. You would think this would make competition/practices and locker rooms intense.

Only 2 of those guys are going to programs that are arguably worse than UF at this time. One was a complete non-contributor and the other played in exactly 1 game. The other guys landed in good spots for competitive programs....I guess we'll see if they contribute there.

I suppose that you could make the argument that all of those schools are better than UF right now, how we looked in the bowl game, but if you look at the history of the guys who left, Braun specifically chose not to follow the OT line coach to Arkansas for a better program with an OL coach he knew, McMillon could have chosen PSU instead of Pitt out of high school, McDowell had offers in P5, and Helm didn't consider TCU out of high school. All of them went down a tier in what their expectations were out of high school.

Helm was a starter to start 2022. I guess he didn’t feel like he would get into the rotation much with everyone returning and the new recruits.

McMillon we wanted to move to LB. He didn’t want to make that change before testing the market. I think those are the only two we will miss.

Agree. Not sure what the deal was with Braun, he was pretty solid when not injured in previous years.

Yea, probably could’ve used him, but heard he had a meddling dad. Not sure if that was the reason or not.
