The reaction to most players leaving who have had little production is "don't let the door hit you." With TW some Gator fans seem appalled that he is leaving. It is strange and I can only surmise it is b/c he is a local boy they identify with. I agree that his leaving is not a huge loss of talent in my opinion.

I will also say that the way he left (quitting during the season) is not a positive. I prefer guys who keep their mouths shut until it is time to transfer so as not to be disruptive in season. Not a huge deal but maybe indicative of his priorities?

we all saw this coming lol

i'm wondering if that means they'll slide Miguel Mitchell opposite of Kamari next season. Aww shoot, I forgot that Torrence will be back

Not sure if Johnson will be a S or not.
But I think him and Castell are future stars.

dont forget Bryce Thorton too. We’ll be young depth wise in the secondary next year, at least at the safety spot when it comes to the back ups

My ONLY issue is leaving during the season....that's unacceptable in my book

Wondering if Torrence uses his last year too. Regardless, gonna be a lot of young kids out there....but I like the talent on all of them. Moore or Young could probably slide to S as well

yep. I would prefer the secondary to be Moore, Marshall, Wilson, Torrence, and Mitchell next year. Torrence only because of "experience". Mitchell will take his lumps but I LOVE his size

I love Mitchell too.....much more than Kamari who I worry about. Too early to truly judge, but the speed and instincts concern me. Moore has to be on the field somewhere for sure

maaaaan you are my dude because I swear I thought I was the only one who noticed those same areas of concern for Kamari too after watching him this season. Maybe the game hasn't slowed down for him yet but man he is a question mark himself until proven otherwise

I noticed the same, but my sense (just a gut feeling) is that he's not slow...he's just overthinking out there. Hope he takes that 2nd year leap...We need a playmaker back there.

As some point we were projected to have 22 DB's on next year's roster, so these transfers are no surprise.

Dean is a SR, plus then Helm, Wilcoxson, McMillon and Collier are transferring...Now we're projecting to have 17 for next season (as of now).

My guess is that 1 more leaves...And we'll anchor to 16-ish for next season.

Its not ideal to have to play as a true frosh, particularly in position requiring read/react. WR's are usually the most successful playing early out of HS. There are always exceptions, however. (ETN, for example).

The talk of moving him to LB reminds me of the old Miami meta: Recruit safeties and make em LBs and take LBs and make them DE. Wilson is listed at 209 now. He's still really young and I don't see him near his end development. I could definitely see him ending up at OLB. Then again, I also remember the days of Louis Oliver playing S at 225ish?
