You have taken notice that this defense, including its personnel, have been really, really bad, right?

 

Scooby does not have speed either and probably should have always been an Edge. Can you confirm that Pup had no missed tackles last year, because even with only 19 tackles that is incredibly impressive?

I think he has potential to be a good player. But he needs to be coached up.

Personally I think he would be a good DE at 6’4 241.

 

If you are going sideline to sideline or having to drop into coverage, you better be an incredible athlete at that size. I'm not saying he isn't. I know I was disappointed to see him not start out at UF.

 

From what I understand he got homesick.

I think the staff hoped he would have done more than what he did, especially how he looked in camp where he was really impressive.

He's got good potential though and I think he could be a good player.

 

Scooby Williams and Jayden Hill both going to Texas A&M. I think that's 6 of our portal guys going to SEC schools. Will be interesting to see how they all do.

 

I don't really expect him to come in and be a starter. I also have no idea if he has the requisite speed as you said. His high school highlights didn't suggest he was a burner. Also if his heart wasn't in it because of being homesick, that could affect performance as well.
