The Florida Policy Institute estimates the loss of labor from Florida's immigration law cost the economy $12.6 billion. Farmers in the state are struggling, but so are those in construction, hospitality, healthcare, and more. The lack of labor is also causing prices to rise. The largest strawberry farmer in Florida can't find people to harvest all the berries. Less supply means higher prices. While the rest of the country isn't as bad as Florida with its law, we are all in a labor crunch. Deporting millions would make the entire country as bad as Florida. It would be true stagflation with a huge loss in GDP accompanied by mass inflation.

I didn't see any shortage of Florida grown strawberries this year or notice higher than normal prices. I am betting the California berries that come in when the Florida season is over will cost more. I think Florida is doing just fine.
You are wrong again. I go there a couple of times a week and sometimes go to Wards as well as Publix. I have bought Florida strawberries several times and they have not gone up any more than anything else has. Most times recently Publix has had them three pints for $10.00. There have been plenty in the stores all season. I know Ocala still had their strawberry festival as does Starke and Plant City with no talk of any shortage.
I'm sorry, but did you really think Plant City would cancel its Strawberry Festival, its largest event of the year by far, due to the tightening of the strawberry market? That's funny right there.
They would if they really didn't have anyone to pick berries. I mean are you saying they would have it even if no strawberries? They were never supposed to be hiring illegals to start with.
Democrats are flying 15 plane loads of Haitians to Nicaragua every day. Then they pipeline them to the border where I guess they get their $2000 debit cards. So relax, everything will work out just fine.
