I wanted us to spend money and go after a big name (similar to what USC did with Riley) but didn’t give it much thought since Napier seemed to be the obvious choice pretty early on in the process. I’m supporting him but this board is over the top with overstating everything he does. I’m giving him the first year mulligan as every coach should get, so we will see what happens in ‘23.
