I've always been somewhat disappointed in the lack of content on what's self-described as The Official Florida Gators Website. Often times, it goes two days, or more, with no new content. Even on good days, there are three or four new things posted, tops. And maybe half of them are canned blurbs with info about upcoming events at UF. That said, they may have outdone themselves today. As a season ticket holder, you get an email every Saturday when the Gators play. The email I got this morning reads as follows in the subject line. GAME DAY: Gators vs. Miami (floridagators.com) To be fair. The story in the email is about the TA&M vs. Gators game. But, come on. Is it that hard to get such simple things right? Is it that hard these days to find competent people to handle such things? Pay an intern from the Journo school to monitor the page from their dorm room. Or, better yet, borrow one of the minions from the Napier Army with an innocuous job title to do that. Rant over. Climbs off soap box. Go Gators! Beat Miami.
