It's strange how fast that tackling skill parishes in season. We had moments where we looked decent tackling early on. Not so much in this game.

 

Our defense really lacks strength and conditioning. This is what this is all about on defense. We really have no playmakers on defense. Maybe some will emerge..

 

This is the worst Gator defense I can recall

 

We are tackling better this year. I give our guys that. Effort otoh not so sure.

 

It’s Mississippi State. Two weeks ago against Samford it was also starting to come together.

 

I think last year was worse lol

 

3 is pretty good.

 

We've learned 1 thing, MSU's D is worse than ours.

 

Too much upper body? Who knows, but NOT nearly enough lower body...

Napier looks pissed and is writing down numbers. I do think he’s been way too “awe shucks” but I think he’s starting to listen to some of the former players who’ve been … discussing … team discipline and fight.
