That is a good question. They both saw each other, clean block in my book. But college football is different these days, and not for the better.

 

What a run by Mizell...I'm old that doesn't seem like a blind side block to me....

When you have a losing program you can’t even get calls to go your way. That was a horrible call It was a simple block

Horrible call. The defender had line of sight on the mizell and Johnson.

 

That entire block was completely unnecessary to the play... should have let that player go, or turned his body to block him with his back to interfere but not draw the penalty.

I can tell by the emojis on this post who know the rules, a from those who DO NOT KNOW THE RULES...

Montrell is not particularly great and we are terrible with dumb penalties but that one I simply do not understand. How is he supposed to block there. Is there something I don’t know?

Just my opinion, but to call it. Blindside is incorrect. It maybe some kind of hit to the head penalty?

Blindside apparently means looking directly at the person about to block you. Wow

If he's not defenseless then it's not a blind side block
