Defense makes a stop with ~3 minutes left = call three passes and take zero time off the clock. Opponent scores with a minute left *and* you have 3 TO's = call three runs and get into half. Someone tell me the logic?
Why is Billy anti 2 minute drill? with our D we constantly give up 2 for 1s around half time because we refuse to try to score 1 minute and 3 TOs is an eternity
I have to say-yes-this is frustrating and embarrassing-and I am not happy at all-but some of the rants saying the same thing over and over and over are also irritating...yeah-we all get it-the defense is horrible
Did Dan Mullen really just say that TCU's issue with the playoff committee is that they let guys get wide open in the secondary? That's rich Dan.
Wait, Napier didn't have an interview with Stricklin? UF just hired him site-unseen? I didn't know that. If true, yes, we shouldn't be surprised at all.
Announcers “Dan has questionable time management skills as the head coach for UF” Billy Napier “Hold my beer”
Whelp, I hope Napier can give his famous half time speech. We need a 2nd half like that one quarter against Georgia. If that makes sense... Go Gators.
Its the system on D, we dont blitz, give 10 yd cushions when they only need 8yd. Toney needs to go, he show no ability to make any adjustments....9 damn games into the season
The only time i've seen any adjustments is when we go down big. Suddenly our offense looks fluid. The defense? LOL.
We were humming along then we freaked out in the 2 minute warning time... I saw one play set with 4+ minutes left that we went into the 'scared money' defense, a.k.a., prevent defense... never works... But for the most part we did decently well in the first half. But we have to remember that these are freshman and red-shirt freshman we're playing against. So... we should be up huge on these young pups.
