Big dogs to any team with a pulse and we have fans expecting 8+ wins or they’ll be upset with Napier. I’m interested in if we can beat Kentucky and uscw.

Could this be the year that our streak of avoiding a shutout ends?

I'm amazed at how one spring game with blitzing and simulated rushes makes the faint of heart believe the spring game is what will happen in the fall. Spring games are meaningless. We have an experienced QB, a great RB room, talent at receiver and the right bodies for a good OL. We should chill and let coaches who are getting their second year with young talented players show what they have.

Hang tight guys - the roster is not finalized. We have 6 scholly's left - more if others transfer out.

If Waites and Mazz are healthy in the Fall (TBD), then our OL will be more than fine.

CBN said we're not done at QB, so let's see who transfers in there.

And, I have zero doubt our D will be much better in 2023.

I’d put SC at 5 and no I’m not being bias.. Outside of recruiting what has Jimbo done at TAM? Kentucky is solid, but they have the Gamecocks in Columbia.

I’d also move Missouri higher, just because they are good enough just to be a pain in the a**.

I may be crazy, but I think Auburn makes significant progress this season under Freeze.

I think we have an excellent wide zone blocking scheme with great zone running backs. If we have greater accuracy from our QB, we should be fine. The QB will be entering his 4 th year starting. With regard to the D, I think the new coordinator will make a difference FTL good about our DL and our Cbs, but unclear how our Lb and Ssfeties will perform. Will we be able to stop the run?? Will Safeties continue to take wrong angles in run support and be late on pass plays. Hopefully a transfer with starting safety experience

I’m thinking between 2-10 and 4-8, depending on how we do against Vandy and South Carolina.

    Sad

My contention is with "knows." He certainly thinks it is, and many around here agree. I think the talent level he inherited was high, just maybe not in the way he wanted it -- it's not like there's a measurable, interchangeable rating, so a kid recruited for what Mullen wanted to do might not fit what Napier wanted, but I do not think that means the kids were incapable.

I do think it's dangerous to put faith in any upcoming class, because a teenager's commitment can change quickly. This isn't a pro league (I mean, it's not a league with a common draft) where there is benefit to an unsuccessful season -- in almost all cases, the worse you are, the worse your recruiting becomes. All the benefits in this sport derive from winning and winning big.

At what point does Napier own the team that has these long odds?

Id personally take UF in all those games

Seems like you don’t have the stomach for the sport. You may want to commit to yard work every Saturday moving forward.
