Huh, don't people usually take their IQ tests well before age 25?

You know (or should know) that for children under the age of 12 the only intervention is social transition not medical transition. It usually involves letting children who think that they identify as the other gender dress and wear their hair as the gender with which they identify. A 10-year would virtually never be prescribed puberty blockers much less hormones.

When the human brain is fully developed has no bearing on when IQ tests are done. The brain continues to develop in ways that aren't evaluated by "IQ " testing.
Plenty of research if you care to look into it.

Our brains being fully developed has no bearing on when we understand gender. That happens at around 3 years old. Nor do we need fully developed brains to know sexuality. That occurs usually around 7 to 9 years old, and kicks into a higher gear for most in their teenage years.

Those prescribed puberty blockers around age 12 are the trans kids who have been living this way for years. Not sure what having or not having a fully developed brain makes a difference. Heck, I was married before my brain was fully developed, and am celebrating by 25th anniversary later this month.

They had the hearing today at a hotel airport in Orlando (starting at 8 AM). A bunch of people who opposed the ban showed up early. Some took off work so they could speak.

Instead, the DeSantis cronies on the board flew in people who supported it, let them speak, let a few who opposed it speak, shut down comments early, and then voted to move this ridiculous, bigoted ban forward. Our state government is an anti-freedom craphole.

John Stewart destroyed the Arkansas AG for trying to push this same nonsense. Of course, in Arkansas, their legislature passed the law. Here, our legislature didn't, so DeSantis's cronies are doing it themselves.

Conservatives are trying to impose their whims on everyone. That is differer than a decision that applies to one person.
