Listened to a few of their podcast, they HATE their OL and their LB’s suck in coverage. Also hate the playcalling as they aren’t coming to terms that it was more Malik Hooker in 2022 than it was the play calls much like FSU now that they don’t have JT to bail them out

I don't know if we are actually getting better or if we are just schitzo. There's no way this defense should have been able to hold UCF to 100ish rushing yards versus the 250 or better they were getting. WR are getting better, maybe because with Wilson out they had more targets.
At any rate, we seem to be playing better but I don't know if it's fools gold or not. Which makes it a little more exciting I guess.
Oh and one more thing, our showing against aTm looks a little better now with what they did to mizzoo.

UT game offers the Gators and coach Napier a golden opportunity to make a significant rebound from the disappointment of the 1 - 2 start.

It's a big ask however. While I enjoyed the Arkansas W, UT will be primed for UF.

Every indicator would suggest UT to be heavily favored. The Gators have yet to prove they can beat a quality team at home or on the road in quite some time.

I'm not sold on UCF being a particularly good team. Napier has not won a quality road game in his tenure, but the opportunity does present itself Saturday night.

They just lost to Arkansas and we beat them last year. It’s just not that damn scary.

so explain to me how a storm that happened already somehow should play a role in the game being played at night? I don’t know why you wrote that?

Nor am I. We witnessed a series of frankly baffling decisions by the UCF coaching staff that greatly diminished their chances of winning that game.

I’d love UF to win and live in TN. If we don’t then my best buddy with terminal cancer will be happy because he won’t live to see another UF-TN game. I can’t lose this weekend

    If we win this weekend,

    which is certainly possible because:
    1. We are in their heads, have beaten them countless times when we shouldn't have
    2. Vandy just beat up on Bama
    3. Vandy had so such history of beating Bama, they just did out of the blue
    4. I think our D has finally taken a step forward to where we can get a few stops
    5. Our Special Teams have not been a detriment this year
    6. We have 2 good QB's to their 1, that's an advantage if one gets banged up.
    7. Maybe BN will cut Lagway loose this week and let him run, this would help our running game immensely

I think we can get to 8 wins this year.
