This can’t be true, because i was assured racism was a thing of the past.

 

I understand to a point, we have a lot of cut through traffic in our neighborhood cutting through to miss a red light on the main highway. I get aggravated from time to time and yell at drivers. There is a 25 mph sign in front of my house and people fly by at 40 all the time. I yell at a couple every day and I will say one thing. There is no way those men could tell if the boys were black or white when they first drove by. Also sounds strange that a 16 year old was driving and admitted he was speeding? The boys say they turned around to leave? Could be another questionable act. I see one of the men taking a picture of the license plate, seems like he was afraid of the boys running.

Like I said I can certainly understand yelling at the kids, I do the same. Where it went from there will be a he said / he said situation. Could be interesting. I have had 2 people turn around on me, one to give me crap and the other to apologize. I've got things covered with security cams if anything ever comes of it.

Actually my yelling at traffic has done a little bit of good. Here is a video I posted on facebook a while back, the Mayor who is a good friend forwarded it to the Police Chief and we have had a couple of speed traps set up on my street lately. People are getting the hint.

 

I watched several videos the only one being a racist was the kids father when he got there. I never heard one of the men use a racial slur. Kid you don't belong here is not a racial slur, I have said that to white kids. I still say if the kid was speeding there is no way the men knew he was black when they first yelled at him. I do it every day and I don't know if they are white, black, male or female until they pass and sometimes don't know even then. Try standing in your front yard and identify the driver of a car going 30 mph or more.

 

This is what the righties want. They want an all out war on black people.
It really sucks how bad this has become.
I wish no harm on anyone.

 

Don’t touch someone or their property unless you fear for your life. This guy may have had a righteous cause (safety) but went about it the wrong way. I give credit to the kid for handling the situation well - if what has been shared is accurate

 

No, go to the kids fathers facebook page and scroll past this incident you will find out who is racist. His father posts several times before the incident about racist white people. Then after the incident it's like he is trying to incite problems. I don't know exactly what happened but this has been blown way out of proportion. From day 1 The police made no arrests that night, only after the kids family blew up the internet with racist, racist, racist remarks was an arrest made.
