We fish a 32 Albemarle. We bring an extra 55 gallons when we go to the rigs. Day trips though it’s only 26 miles to the edge.

Are you on a private boat or one of the head boats?

Get any turkeys? Need pics! Hope your daughter is doing well.

My son and I head up to some friends farm in SW Georgia once or twice a year. Doe's are fairly easy to come by as the farms are over-run with deer (pigs too). They would like to reduce the heard by deer 30/year, but never get take that many. They do turn into nice smoked venison sausage, though.

10,000 ac in FL and more in Gerogia? Is that your camp toilet in you gif?

This time of year out of Clearwater is the best time for mangos by far. 90% moon Friday and always see a steady bite throughout the night. Lots of reports of hoos and tuna. Should be fun

Sharks are worse than any time in my life. One or two fish up and we have bulls eating our catch. The mangos have to be hard to get up on light line. They won’t eat anything up here but light mono.

Most of us were running 40-50 lb braid to 60 lb floro .. during the full moon bite they aren’t as leader shy. In 3 hrs we had a 6 man limit of mangos. Would have been less than that but the sharks were everywhere. Before we started dropping baits they were so far up in the water column we turned the transom lights on and they were on the surface. Right next to the boat. As soon as we started hooking up it turned into a shark party.

Reading about the sharks made me wonder if you could drop a Shark Shield down to ward them off and not affect the fishing. I bought a Shield for my wife a few years ago as she was quite worried about them while scalloping.
