Florida Gators to play at night for first 4 games of 2023 season 8/31 @Utah Thursday at 8 ESPN 9/9 McNesse St 730 ESPNU 9/16 Tennessee 7 ESPN 9/23 Charlotte 7 ESPN plus/SECN plus
I believe so, article says 8 pm prime time. Making it a 6 pm mst kickoff. Sunset is 8pm mst the 1st of Sept in Utah.
ESPN games at 8:00 at night used to be a killer. 1) The games go until midnight. 2) At least an hour to get to I-75. 3) Two hours to get home. I gave this up a long time ago.
The Tampa Gator club used to have a bus that would take us up and back to some games..it was great..everyone brought food and drink, then the buses would drop you off right in front of the stadium and be right there after the game to drive back...it was great..the only driving was to a central location to meet the bus. .Wish they still would do that..they did for a Tennessee game once..we won, it was a fantastic trip back home..
Yeah straight down I-75 is workable, but I’ll go ahead and spend the night in town and drive out on Sunday
In order to do it again, all you have to do is charter a bus, determine a per head cost, and have the club put out the word.
Maybe I will contact them since I belong to the club..they used to meet a lot more and have events Several times a group of us rented a van. But someone had to drive, but could spilt driving up..
It will be nigh-time in Gainesville when the game starts, so... night game for we Florida residents. It's a right and wrong statement to say that our 4 first games are night games.
