Iowa wins. So they mentioned that Iowa's OC, the coaches son, needs to average 25 points a game or he is fired, what a bizarre contract.
They averaged less than 20 last year and fans wanted his head. He reports to the AD due to nepotism being in play. The AD came up with this low threshold to allow him to save face and maybe have the OC keep his job. Last year they scored more than 25 three times and more than 30 one time. He is minus 5 this year so far.
It'll be fascinating if he's still behind schedule in November, and it affects Iowa's playcalling/strategy. Will the elder Ferentz tell his son to run the ball and kill the clock to protect a second half lead when he needs points to keep his job?
