I don't want to belabor this point or hijack this thread, but in the past 33 years, only one SEC school has won more natty's than UF, yet you state that we have been cheap historically with assistant coaches' salaries and that is why we aren't winning. Thirty three years of history-the modern football era- shows that the amount of assistant coaches' salaries is an irrelevant data point in the SEC to look at to predict success. As best I can tell, the UAA gave Napier what he asked for on almost almost everything; why would they deny him the money he needed to hire the assistants he wanted? Stricklin knows his job is at stake, and the boosters who could easily pony up a few million more if needed, want to win just as bad. It is irrational to think they went cheap. Sorry, not buying it. Not buying that as the reason for our struggles. Sorry, not buying it.
Watch Iowa curb stomp Michigan. Lost all their fire now they have their coach back. We’ve seen crazier things
I don't think it's as chaotic as you think. Conference championships are going to come into play, in spite of what uga fans hope for.
Quite a roller coaster for Bama fans. Opened with a 10 pt loss at home to Texas, a shaky win over lowly USF, a miracle pass with time running out to beat a mediocre Auburn, yet they're sec champs with a solid chance to win it all again.
They're not getting in regardless. Let them play each other in a meaningless NY6 bowl with half their players opting out for a nice shit show.
Yeah, I grew up west of them in Pcola and hate everything about them. It's easy for me to call them our number 1 rival, because, growing up UGA was just our whooping boy who barely made a bowl every year. I had no idea they were even relevant to us anymore than the shamecocks until they got good.
