This narrative that he has improved Georgia is so tiring. Georgia had a horrible year the year before he was there, but other than that his two teams there are the exact type of teams they’ve had for the past 15 years at Georgia. They were not any better this year than the year before. I think the SEC media has just worked with him so long now that they want to be nice.
I mostly believe we pile on him because he is at UGA. Any other school and we wouldn't care, maybe even wish him success.
If he were at any school other than FSU and UGA, I would probably be quietly rooting for him. The way they have finished he may be at another school by 2025.
I don’t know about you guys, but I’d rather lose in the first round of the NCAAT than win the NIT championship.
Most would agree, more and more teams are turning the NIT down, the only reason the pups are even in is because Ole Miss said no.
That’s fair, definitely hate he went to UGA and I absolutely don’t wish him any luck there. I hope to see UGA fall flat on their face in every competition they ever compete in. That said, he left because he was absolutely vilified by the UF fanbase and that’s where he was offered to get out. If he sucks so bad, why do UF fans really care that’s he went there? As far as I’m concerned, the ongoing hatred comes off as extreme childish and petty.
“He left because..” that was a LIE. He quit, couldn’t stand the low heat. You sound awful petty judging your fellow Gator fans
He was a “nice guy”, but an average at best coach, average at best recruiter, and a horrible developer of talent. I’m glad he’s gone and I’m happy it’s to UGA because that just ensures they won’t ever be great as long as he is there.
