super interesting exit polls results. Abortion at 40% would definitely be a difference maker.

I'm surprised that abortion would poll that high, but it could be because the issue is more clear: Democrats are for abortion rights and Republicans are against them. Neither side is for crime and inflation. Republicans may claim to have the solutions for each, but it's not clear that they do.

The abortion issue isn’t going anywhere either. Until women get their reproductive rights back this will be a thorn in the side of the GOP.

All it means is polls shouldn't be trusted. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm pretty stoked that the reality TV snake oil salesman didn't win. I cannot stand Oz and the nonsense medical advice he peddled (while knowing better).

Terrible decision by the SC to do that. What I see is when you put a crap candidate(oz) that really no one likes and has no experience you will face an extremely uphill battle. Trump backed candidates did terrible. Hope that means he goes away quietly but that is unfortunately wishful thinking.

Maybe, but if we already know everything in our own heads, we don’t ever need to go out and check on our assessment at all.

Grassley is going to retire during his term so they'll appoint his grandson as a replacement.

TFW you go strongly out on a limb for the "home team" in a toss up election.

Similarly while consistently raising doubts about Biden's age and cognitive ability even to the point of ridicule Republicans and right-leaning commentators had no problem with giving Grassley a complete pass although the same issues that apply to Old Joe apply equally to even Older Chuck.

By the way, Fetterman sucked it up and debated and won,
Hobbs decided not to debate and looks like she might lose.

Valid point, but PA is a state that has polled strong for abortion all along. (,Other polls show it trailing the economy by a margin)

It was not the winning strategy Dems thought it eas though.

If we are being honest, i am fine with the way yesterday panned out.

I think it's a loss for Trump. Even Fox was hinting at it last night.

A DeSantis landslide in a state that is fairly even from a battleground standpoint coupled with the wave being a ripple everywhere except Florida is bad for Trump, good for DeSantis.
