Federal Reserve Today: Cuts still coming

I see the 100 BPs in 2025, but I’m worried about 3 cuts this year. Last two months the numbers should inflation picking up. I’m not one to react to any individual month but if the next one is up as well then you have to consider that it could be a bad trend. The next inflation numbers will be very telling whether there are 3 cuts this year or if they scale it back to two.

I hope so. My daughter bought a house last year at 7.25%. We helped her out with the down payment and told her we would gift her more when she refinances, hopefully in the low 5’s. I agree that we won’t see real cheap money for quite a while and while painful for some it’s necessary
