What sort of open honest discussion did you want to have re ivermectin? It is an anti parasitical. There was never any reason to believe it would help Covid. There was never any evidence to demonstrate it helped Covid. Subsequent testing proved it had no impact on Covid. There’s nothing to debate. Given that what exactly did you want to talk about?

How anyone can think the Great Barrington Declaration was smart still today boggles the mind. The UK tried this first and later called it the biggest mistake in the history of Healthcare in the country. Why? Because one, no guarantee that immunity would be lifelong and two, with asymptomatic spread, without daily testing, it's impossible to build a barrier between the healthy and vulnerable.

There is a business opportunity out there to open Trump Medical Clinics all around the red states where the only treatments you can get for any ailments is either Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine.

Owing to the absence of any pathogen, the following categories are meaningless …

Immunity, herd immunity, R0, vaccine efficacy, etc.

That said, the GBD would have been MUCH less destructive than the road taken if only because it implied much less panic and much less disruption.

Public Health were fools and criminals.

Those who died from Covid mainly were old, diseased or stupid. I wonder if that will impact the next election?

Q likes to tout “natural immunity” yet he and many others have caught Covid multiple times. If you’re “immune” from Covid once you have contracted it, how do you get it multiple times? Interesting thought process going on there.

You can’t catch Covid. You can only catch a positive test.

There’s a trend of people using Povidone Iodine Nasal spray saying it kills the covid and other viruses. I know it’s used topically to kill bacteria and for purifying water. Do you have any thoughts on the nasal spray? I just came back from a trip to Japan and caught a nice cold. I am not about to use the spray if it hasn’t been prescribed by my Dr. although some “smart people” have been telling me otherwise.

I would have liked an open and honest discussion of the anti-inflammatory capability of ivermectin. Did it have a place in the treatment regimen for none/some/many/all? We never got to see any of that information, did we.

But we did buy $M’s of ventilators that are probably still in boxes somewhere.

Iodine has been added to salt for generations. I don’t think it would have any effect but I doubt it would hurt anything. Sort of like zinc lozenges which were all the fad a couple of years ago.

This debate occurred in medical journals. I am not qualified to take part in those but I do read them. You sir are being ridiculous.

Stop implying a lie. Natural immunity was superior to the shot. Even those lining up for boosters to this day will admit it. They just wanted to force others to take it because they felt causing unnecessary inflammation would give you even more protection.

But you keep carrying on this false belief lol. It makes you look stupid when you say things like this. I have never said that one would not get Covid if they had Covid before.

Iodine in salt is to prevent goiters, which is a concern ;). My question on the nasal spray pertains to it killing covid or other viruses. Zinc and Vitamin C are still good to boost your immune system. Propel Brand sells an immune booster with Zinc and Vitamin C but I guess it didn’t help me this time or I was too late in taking it. Being in airplane for 14 hours didn’t help. :emoji_tired_face:

There wasn't much to discuss. It was a stupid, potentially dangerous, idea out of the blocks.
