In the OP's defense, he didn't capitalize the title, that was done by his source.

No doubt Trump administration hires. They should have been fired immediately rather than given the chance to resign.

If you actually read professional articles on the subject, it seems that the Senior staff leaving is not because of any political interference but largely because nobody left those jobs for 2 years due to the pandemic. Essentially, everybody who was going to retire or leave in the last 2 years just delayed that due to the emergency. For example, here is one of the people that the Substack discusses (while not directly attributing his leaving or any of the people leaving to political interference- just suggesting it).

A vaccine veteran steps away from the NIH, looking out toward the world

No mention of political interference. In fact, he explicitly says that his plan was to retire in 2020.

This is why you shouldn't get your political news from Outkick and people with an obvious agenda on Substack.

Outkick evolving from "Hot SEC chick of the week" to MAGA-friendly COVID disinformation laundering seems like something in a microcosm

Outkick was a bro-ish sports blog, that basically covered college football and sports betting, Clay Travis, the guy who runs it, was always a douche (and big UT fan which might be redundant with douche) but he got MAGA-pilled in 2016 and found a niche in criticizing "too woke" ESPN on behalf of Fox Sports, this of course extended into 'COVID isnt a big deal let them take the horse paste' coverage. Its particularly humorous since he was for a long time a big "no politics in sports" guy, and thats all he does now.

Did you read the Substack story the Outkick story uses for its source? There is hardly the emphasis on pressure from Biden. Only one quick mention

I’m not sure the too hot right wing can get any more comical. I find their comedy genius. God I hope it’s on purpose.

Then we have this article saying there was political interference.

Subscribe to read | Financial Times

Philip Krause and Marion Gruber, who resigned from the Food and Drug Administration two weeks ago, are among the authors of a scathing critique of widespread booster shots, which was published in The Lancet on Monday.

The article, which argues that the scientific evidence does not yet justify giving most people third shots of messenger RNA vaccines, offers an insight into the internal tensions in the Biden administration that were ignited by the White House’s sudden decision to back the booster plan.

The piece warns: “Current evidence does not appear to show a need for boosting in the general population, in which efficacy against severe disease remains high.”
