Anthony Sabatini Calls on Florida Legislature to 'Sever All Ties with DOJ'

Florida state Rep. Anthony Sabatini, who is running for Congress in the Seventh Congressional District, released a statement calling for the Sunshine State to “sever all ties with DOJ immediately” following the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago, the home of former President Donald Trump.

“It’s time for us in the Florida Legislature to call an emergency legislative session & amend our laws regarding federal agencies,” Sabatini stated following the raid on Mar-a-Lago while the president was away in New York.

“Sever all ties with DOJ immediately,” he added. “Any FBI agent conducting law enforcement functions outside the purview of our State should be arrested upon sight.”

 

trump should give a copy of the search warrant to the press. It's the only way to show the search's frivolity and unfairness.

I know there are some here old enough to remember the Robert Young TV series "Father Knows Best." My theory is that it's Ivanka spilling the beans that led to this search warrant. She already has a $20 million advance for the tell-all book she's writing, "Father Does Not Know Best." The FBI got the search warrant by letting the judge read the book manuscript. Trump, of course, knew nothing about this book. When he finds out, he will most likely claim that Ivanka is not even his daughter. Not to suggest, of course, that his wife cheated on Trump. Who would do that? No, obviously somebody raped her. And Trump, true to his well-known moral convictions, made his wife bare the child. As for Ivanka, when Trump claims that she is not his daughter, she will probably say, "Thank God." You read all of this first here.

Popehat provided a link to Manafort's application for a search warrant on twitter. This example demonstrates the specificity and limits of a search as well as who signed off on it. If the trump supporters actually wanted answers, they could demand the copy of the warrant left at trump's domicile.
