Like I said, the Judge looked at this application very closely. We know evidence held by Trump was a target because they searched his safe, office and bedroom.

If people's undying support for Trump is what causes the downfall of this country, it had run it's course anyway and needed a reset.

If that's the case then it's thanks to Trump and his supporters. No one is above the law.

Rural areas of this country maintain far more influence than they should. They have overrepresentation in the election of the President, overrepresentation in the election of the Senate, a (smaller) amount of overrepresentation in the election of the House, and overrepresentation in the Judiciary resulting from their overrepresentation in the Senate and Presidency. How much power do they need not to overthrow the government? All of it?

If by that you mean accountablity, rule of law, and no man is above the law, then yes.

It can be said, but not truthfully. Those areas are all systematically underrepresented. You are more likely to see a Presidential candidate at a public event in a rural town in New Hampshire than you are in Chicago. By a lot. Or a Senate candidate, in fact.

The reason that we had useless corn ethanol subsidies for years is because it was important to rural Iowa, not NYC, and Presidential candidates care far more about small rural towns in Iowa than popular opinion in NYC.

Agreed. But I’ll be damned if that fat orange (man) will be the reason.

It’s been a year and time enough for trump to have flushed even 15 boxes down the toilet. So why now?
They must have something more recent about the purloined papers.

Saying a search to recover documents that were taken. Rumor
Trump in NY. Maralago closed for summer, so very limited personnel present. No reporting on incident until Trump tweeted after it was over.

Why would anyone care to keep documents and if they were damning, why keep them. Toilets clogged?

If the documents are about him, Trump probably stays up every night reading and rereading them. They would never get old.

Trump decided to lie and say that he won the election. If he hadn't lied, there wouldn't have been a January 6, and we wouldn't have had many of the voter suppression laws that are being passed in Republican controlled states. Now along comes another divider in DeSantis. Between Trump and DeSantis, this country is being split right down the middle. The thought of having another president (along with Trump) who will only represent a minority of the people in this country is frightening.
