Response seems, to this layman, to destroy trump’s claim that the SM should review classified material and Cannon’s rulings that provided that claim.

Add this Supreme ruling to the NY AG suing to stop Trump from moving assets to avoid prosecution, insider witness on tape moving boxes at MAL cooperating with DOJ, and judge ruling Trump must depose for rape case.... one would think he's having a sub par day.

Probably, but my point is that this court that the left said wouldn't do the right thing on such Trumpian matters did the right thing... Yet again.

    Not lawyers, just posters.

They said SCOTUS would overturn the election.
SCOTUS would just be Trumps judicial are... Etc.

Yet the court hasnt done him a boatload of favors in his search for fake legitimacy.

The vocal partisans are indeed in a constant frenzy these days. However, in their defense, Trump hasn’t demonstrated a ton of respect for established norms and his party very much followed his lead, so it was possible that an all Republican congressional confirmation could realistically have led to the appointment of some less than scrupulous members of the Supreme Court.

Good to see that the USSC wasn’t willing to abandon tradition for this one.

I read these forums pretty well and I don't recall a single poster ever stating that the USSC would overturn the election unless it is someone I have blocked. Who made such a claim?

Agree. It was THIS court that people were upset about though. So glad to see them do the right thing and prove people wrong.

There was a drumbeat from some here saying he was selecting judges to keep him in power if need be. Then some (few) said aloud they worried the courts would find in his favor after the election.

No idea if those posts exist or not as admin has done their periodic purge since then.

The Court just ignores 200 years of case precedent to indoctrinate a new Fundamentalist-based set of laws. But otherwise, yay.

Appears that Trumps sub par day has another disconcerting item added: seems that the 1/6 committee has unanimously voted to call/subpoena DJT. My grandpa used to say "there's some days you shoulda just stood in bed"
