oopps, how does this happen? if they already split everything, and it reads like they did, then they know everything they have, and they know what the archives is missing. Is another search warrant pending? Are all the good JFK files buried with his ex-wife? He knows they would never try and get an exhumation order but he can have it dug up anytime he chooses...

Trump's Mar-a-Lago Documents Included Pardons, White House Emails, Legal Bills - Bloomberg

The thousands of documents seized from former President Donald Trump’s Florida home included a mix of government, business and personal affairs, including analysis about who should get a pardon, call notes marked with a presidential seal, retainer agreements for lawyers and accountants, and legal bills, according to newly disclosed logs created by federal investigators.

The detailed lists of seized materials were attached to a recently unsealed Aug. 30 report from the Justice Department. A judge had ordered the logs stay under seal but they appeared to be inadvertently posted to the public court docket. They’re no longer publicly visible.

The logs were created by a “Privilege Review Team” that divided potentially privileged material into two categories. The first set of 137 pages consisted mostly of government records, public documents, or communications from outside parties. One 39-page document titled “The President’s Calls” featured handwritten notes and the presidential seal in the upper left corner.

The second list described documents that the filter team believed should be returned to Trump, including a “medical letter” to a doctor and a wide array of materials referring to Trump’s numerous legal entanglements over the years.

Can anyone verify that one of the seized documents was a crumpled up cheat sheet with the following 5 words on it: person, woman, man, camera, TV?

The DOJ has apparently notified DT lawyers that they believe that DT has additional documents. They seem to be laying the groundwork for an indictment on treason shortly after the midterms. Treason, obstruction, sedition, NY cases, Georgia cases, pending tax audits,...the man has dug himself quite a pit and he jsut keeps digging. Many of the missing documents involve personnel or other information which would compromise assets.

Justice Dept. Is Said to Believe Trump Has More Documents - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

A top Justice Department official told former President Donald J. Trump’s lawyers in recent weeks that the department believed he had not returned all the documents he took when he left the White House, according to two people briefed on the matter.

The outreach from the official, Jay I. Bratt, who leads the department’s counterintelligence operations, is the most concrete indication yet that investigators remain skeptical that Mr. Trump has been fully cooperative in their efforts to recover documents the former president was supposed to have turned over to the National Archives at the end of his term.

It is not clear what steps the Justice Department might take to retrieve any material it thinks Mr. Trump still holds.

And it is not known whether the Justice Department has gathered new evidence that Mr. Trump has held onto government material even after the court-authorized search in August of his private club and residence in Florida, Mar-a-Lago, and 18 months of previous efforts by the federal government to convince the former president to return what he had taken on leaving office.

I would expect some more search warrants to be issued, assuming the FBI knows where to search. Trump might not even know where the other documents are.

Hunter Biden never investigated? Wasn't true when posted two months ago and definitely not true today.
Federal prosecutors weighing charges on two fronts in Hunter Biden investigation | CNN Politics
By the way, the story was apparently leaked to the press by one or more FBI agents in violation of the Bureau's own policies. You think they should be disciplined? As far as Hillary is concerned there were probably hundreds of stories including multiple press releases from the FBI itself regarding the Bureau's investigation of her during 2016 and there is speculation supported by polls indicating that Comey's press release in October of 2016 two weeks prior to the election that her emails were found on the laptop used by Anthony Weiner and Huma Abedin may have thrown the election to Trump.

edit..no idea on strike thru. ignore that

scary read on how loosely top secret files were handled in the WH. The Russian investigation papers that the FBI and DOJ wanted kept secret were delivered to the WH at the end of the DT reign. It would seem that they were randomly copied and assigned to people to review, people including the author of the theory that the FBI and DOJ were out to get DT. Once again, like Eastman, the pattern of being able to move to the inner circle is repeated by telling him what he wants to hear.

Is there any real doubt as to why we ahve lost so many assets during the DT years? With the way that the admin treated TS files, the foreign intelligence services must have been having a field day with DT in office.

Why documents were allegedly in disarray during Trump's final days in office (msn.com)

At the time, Solomon was promoting a series of since-discredited claims about supposed Obama-era corruption in Ukraine, claims which Trump then privately pushed the Ukrainian president to investigate, leading to Trump's first impeachment. Solomon's own employer then, The Hill newspaper, eventually launched an internal review and concluded his Ukraine-related pieces "potentially blurred the distinction between news and opinion" and at times failed to include relevant "context and/or disclosure ." Solomon has stood by those pieces, insisting still that they were accurate.

His work at the time was also focused on the FBI’s Russia-related investigation and its offshoots, which he described as "a sin against Donald Trump," an "offense against the entire American people," and “arguably the most devious political dirty trick in American history.”
    ....................
On Dec. 30, 2020, the Justice Department delivered a binder filled with internal notes, memos, emails and other records. The White House was unsure of what should be disclosed, so Trump’s team asked a group of Republican staffers on the House Intelligence Committee to make recommendations, a congressional source informed of the request told ABC News.
    ....................
"The FBI has concerns about everything, from the protection of assets and codenames, and prior investigations that may be referenced in the Russia materials, to Privacy Act stuff," Solomon said in an interview with another right-wing website on Jan. 18, 2021. "There’s been a lot of back and forth."

    Check Ivana's coffin.

Inquiring minds want to know how her slip and fall death occurred just as her NDA about her marriage to Trump expired.

Good luck getting an exhumation order for that. Of course, DT would know that and know he could have it dug it up anytime he wanted.

So if there is probable cause for a warrant and he fails to comply, cite him for contempt, lock his ass up and fine him until he complies. That is what would happen to anyone else.
