FBI Executed a Warrant at Mar a Lago; the Investigation Continues

Responding to the AzCat and pkaib's posts, the DOJ might not do anything but Judge Reinhart can do a lot. Let's see what happens if/when Trump and his hapless legal team he's gathered continue to file preposterous motions.

Yep. Actually sounds like the volume of documents Trump had was more. But General Petraeus had the extra scandalous element of giving them over to his “mistress” to include in a memoir. It was insane. Guy was charged with felonies which could have been decades in prison, but he pled out and never spent a day in jail. 2 years probation and $100k fine. Even with the plea he got off light compared to some others who did much less.

 

I don’t think I believe this. I will wait for confirmation. I think Trump would have something like this. I don’t think Giuliani would in any way be connected to it.

 

Giuliani was Trumps right hand man in the Ukraine Arms extortion shenanigans and also “Stop the Steal” attempted coup shenanigans. Why would you think he wouldn’t (theoretically) be involved here too?

That being said, I doubt these bozos were doing sophisticated spy operations to sneak anything through “secret tunnels”, and I would guess the tunnels themselves were already on the property anyway (unless perhaps this was something secret service put in, for their purposes).

Agree although I think it's very unlikely that he will win again it's not impossible. Clinton didn't really take him seriously. It won't happen again although at least for now he owns the Republican Party to a much greater degree now than he did back in 2016.

 

She did run the worst campaign in my memory. She took it more like a coronation tour more than an election campaign.
