FBI arrests judge in escalation of Trump immigration enforcement effort

Hard to believe anyone would find fault with these two judges being arrested. But then one realizes there are tofu-eating wokerati progressivites stumbling around this country.

I believe this is the point the Trump Admin is trying to make. They do not have the capacity to deport millions of illegal immigrants so they are hoping to scare most of them into self deporting. The strange things is the likely most effective thing they could do to make this happen is forcing every employer to use E-Verify but that has not happened.

Historically you would be correct. AUSA’s have high win rates not primarily due to their ability but selecting cases they can win; they often choose not to prosecute or allow DAs take difficult cases where there is overlapping jurisdiction. It’s hard to say right now whether this same MO applies to this administration and its cabinet. I wouldn’t at all be surprised to see them get over their skis.

 

Seeing as this Admin deported an illegal immigrant to El Salvador when he had a deportation order that said he could be deported to anywhere but El Salvador, I think the burden of proof is on the Admin at this point.

 

Given the history of the Trump boys there's a good chance that they're lying or have made some serious mistake. We'll wait and see what happens
