3:27 left FAU down 6 and driving. Fourth down and 1 and one of the worst calls EVER. QB ran for the first, slid and got clocked by an elbow to the helmet going down and the MI st player threw his friggin helmet after the play. The bow to the hat launched his helmet. That was targeting (but the call was not accepted)! Then I guess they claimed that the QB had started his slide before making an obvious first down and somehow magically gave the ball back to MI st, but with the helmet throwing penalty AFTER the play. How was this diff from the shoe throw against LSU? HOT SHIT is this game, even worse than the homing CO got against NDSU, where the CO receivers got away with push offs and the clock operator was a total homer. If I missed a game thread, please merge this. BULLSHIT is happening with these refs and I have no interest or allegiance to FAU.
That push off last night was wild. Didn't get to see this game but it would be par for the course for us gators. Dallas baker gets slapped no call. Dallas slaps back and the call is made. Deering gets flagged for a wider stride into the endzone, Auburn player flips into the endzone and no call. We throw a shoe and get called.... College football is the opposite of the NBA. Refs see contact and don't call the penalty. Meanwhile all you gotta do is pretend there was contact and fall and the ref will blow a whistle.
