I hope we're all over Ricks too. Cormani seems like a future Gator, but the both of them playing for the Gators would be lightning in a bottle.

At some point Ruiz will demand return on investment, not necessarily financial. He will want to run things from the AD to the assistant coaches. Will basically be a Jerry Jones feuding with his head coaches. Eventually the NCAA hammer will come calling and Da Yu will have no choice but to disassociate itself from Ruiz.

Will be Nevin Shapiro on an ocean of steroids.

If we add Ricks and keep all the prospects we have verbally committed this DB class will be epic best in the country and maybe best ever only time will tell.

I believe the NCAA will investigate any verbal or written contracts for NIL or otherwise that were specific to a HS recruit committing to a specific program, especially if offered by a booster. NILs original intent was for companies to pay for NIL to utilize players for their company marketing and sales efforts. Someone like a Tebow would have national appeal whereas other players would have local or regional appeal. It has evolved into a bidding war for talent to endure them to play for a college. Really semi-professional sports at this point

Likely they will come up with guidelines and anything before will be washed away.

NCAA gets worse and worse and we don't know if conference commissioners plan to do anything about it.

They just granted Tenn a 30 day extension to their response for their 18 level 1 violations to guarantee that they don't get penalties enforced, especially post-season bans, this season. Also, NCAA has already congratulated them for their "self"-reporting and said there was no Lack of Institutional Control, even though one of the violations is obviously not controlling their recruiting operations on so many cases. Ignoring that it looks like they just reported themselves to fire Pruitt with cause.

(Reminds me of someone asking on Twitter, hypothetically of course, if aTm reported pay-for-play violations from Jimbo could he be fired without the buyout?)

Writing standards have definitely been lowered in the world of "journalism" today. Who pays these 8th graders to write stuff like this, anyway? Fansided is one of the worst.

He'll have to get those dudes dancing for guests on private parties to see some returns.

The school admins and coached are going to require some rules and a level playing field. Whether it's enforced or not and by whom is another matter. The NCAA may dissolve.

Is Fansided like how BleacherReport started, basically crowd-sourcing content?

Well, I was telling another member just the other day the only thing would be the King of Sleaze stepping in to write a big check.

You just never know with some folks.
