Being reported that Devon Moore sustained a undisclosed upper body injury.... Moore coming off shoulder surgery. He was absent from today's practice.
This one has a lot of what we've been talking about lately . . . Montrell (RB) on a short pass (YEA!) and Mitchell (LB) playing physically (YEA!).
I can, but I cannot see below a twitter link if they have words about the pics or words above the video feed. Those have to be posted independently for me to see both of them. You would think they would let you see them together if they belong together.
in the moment perspective… Nice of the coach to do this for fans of the Gators. Piersall wasnt on the field. Defense looks super fast and attacking. Offensive line looks humongous. Najeh did get 1st team reps. Jackson had some good touches. Webb is quick and Mizell made a one handed grab that drew oohs and ahs Max looked strong armed as QB2 Clouds helped. Interesting to see ‘practice stuff” - d line holds a volley ball when is passing stance and snap to focus on basics. Got to meet RattlerGator too!
I love hearing that both the youth movement and the transfer portal are contributing early. Also the emergence of Mertz as a solid game manager and taking command of the QB1 position is settling. And Brown moving up to QB2 gives hope not to have to rush Lagway. Possibly some stability to the QB position.
All the reports so far are the wrs are looking good. Props to Billy G for getting up to speed with the offense and getting the most out of players already. His experience, especially Gator experience, is paying off already.
Yep, I’m too old to die trying to play sports in this shit. I can barely fish in this heat. Thank god the Tenn game is at night
Helmet pads are pretty much accepted practice. That begs the question, if the helmet pads reduce injuries in practice, then why aren't they also used in games? Just curious.
