FWIW I've only attended two scrimmages and I assume parking will be impossible Saturday, but here are a few observations that grabbed my attention:
Ty Evans may be the breakout guy this coming season. His bat is hot to start the fall- 6 for 10, 1HR, 3 2B, 2 walks, 1 SO
Young pitchers have had some good moment, but too many walks
Transfer in position players all ook smooth in the field, so far, but what about their bats? Bosor hit the ball on the nose several times, including hard-hit outs.
Many more basestealing than past seasons. Many players making attempts. Donay nailed two last Saturday, but the other catchers got none.
