The security surrounding New Orleans in general and the Super Bowl in particular is intense, with the recent attack in NO, and the presence of the president. Measures include: --steel barricades --fortified bollards --perimeter checkpoints --200 state police --300 national guardsmen --officers from 2 dozen federal agencies --police dogs, drones, and military vehicles I don't know if having Trump there makes everything more, or less, safe. While fans are hoping and praying for their team to win, perhaps they can add a hope and prayer for the city and the stadium's safety.
Well, Pa voted for Trump, Kansas and Missouri voted for Trump, and Louisiana voted for Trump so you are probably right.
I hope everything goes well and we have a wonderful game, with the Eagles winning. With that said… I never thought America would be pulling for the Eagles, what a unique time to be alive.
I just want to know if President Musk authorized all of this wasted money on security for a football game just because Heritage Foundation's Meat Puppet Trump is attending?
Security was already off the charts after the terrorist attack in Jan. Trump attending will up security but mostly his personal security. SS will go over the place with fine tooth comb. Hopefully they are better prepared than the were at they rally.
Cutting Aid to the poor in order to spend over 50% of his time already in Florida and adding this wasteful trip. The only spending that Republicans dont like are spending for the poor. All other spending is just fine.
It was a rough day for Trump. First the signing of his EO on changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico, an event he said was bigger than the Super Bowl, landed with as much fanfare as changing the name of Twitter to X. No one cares and everyone still calls it Twitter. Then the team he backs gets humiliated by the team he uninvited to the White House. Finally he gets booed by some fans and storms out of the stadium in the 3rd quarter, and in a fit of rage orders the Treasury to stop making pennies. Yep the old fart had a pretty rough day yesterday.
