Which is precisely why I see no way Trump wins now that Biden has been replaced. Trump has never won a single popular vote since he started running, and a huge population of this country absolutely despise him. Now that more boomers have passed away since 2020, and more Gen Z voters are eligible, where is his path to victory? Harris is going to pick up a large chunk of the black vote, a large chunk of the female vote, and she’s definitely going to win with young voters, with which there are a record amount now registered to vote. I think once November rolls around, Harris wins easily.

Harris rolls in November. Don’t underestimate the amount of people in this country who hate Trump. See 2020.

Good points. The quinnipeg break down I was just looking at had Harris gaining 40% with black voters, she went to 90% from Biden’s 50%… it was getting out the black votes in Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia that handed Biden the easy win and made all the difference from 2016

Personally went from literally zero enthusiasm and simply a vote against Trump, to peaking my interest now.

Who is looking like the VP pick?

Biden himself got blown out by Walter Mondale and Michael Dukakis in 1984 and 1988, and I don't think Biden got any delegates during his third try in 2008. Thankfully, he was popular enough to defeat Trump in 2020, although that might have been as much about Trump defeating himself as anything.

Not sure Harris rolls easily. But agree turnout is key. Minority and younger voters could propel Harris to victory. These are people who didn't like either Trump or Biden, and may have stayed home and not voted. If Harris can get them to the polls, and win over the undecideds who didn't like either choice but were always going to vote, she has a path to victory.

The Dems went to having almost no chance of winning the presidency or the down-balloting due to lack of interest in Biden, to suddenly generating some enthusiasm which will only grow as the DNC leads to its Convention. The timing of Biden’s announcement was possibly perfect.

    Trump won 4 years ago.imo
The election.was rigged just like the Dem.nomination was rigged this year. RFK Jr couldn't even run as a Democrat.

It’s going to happen. The polls have completely overestimated Trump and underestimated simply how much a large portion of this country absolutely hates him. If young voters have any type of a decent turn out, like in 2020, Harris wins. Period.

I'm a D that lives in Maricopa County, AZ. Already ordered my 10,000, Asian produced copy ballots. And I'm recruiting mules to drop them off as I type. Lol.

That would be a first. The polls have usually underestimated Trump(due to the embarrassment people have for voting for the depraved one, people lied to pollsters.)

This will be easy since Kamala is VP and gets to be the one to decide whether a state’s electoral votes should count or not. Get Eastman on this.
