Vs the gang pimping out your daughter or killing your son. You seem uninformed as to what choices they have. Not your problem..I get it. It the Christian thing, ignore others suffering

I think 'protestors' who loot, riot or trespass all need jail time. I don't care why they were protesting.

Well, that is just false. Let me give you a simple example:

Due process: A person who participated in the January 6 riot is arrested, charged with a set of crimes, properly told their rights, provided access to their preferred defense attorney or a public defender if they are unable to secure the services of a defense attorney, provided the ability to file motions, challenge evidence, apply for bail, participate in jury selection, after which, the state puts on a case restricted by court procedures and laws, and the defense them gets to present their case. At the end of this process, the jury decides the verdict. If found guilty, sentencing procedures are followed based on federal sentencing guidelines. Following this, the defendant has access to the entire appellate system to challenge any aspect of the proceedings.

Lack of due process: A person writes an op-ed, violating no law. The secretary of state cancels their legal visa for their words, has masked government agents arrest this person, and deports them without any access to any of the procedures outlined above.

Yeah, the right is so anti-immigration that they will get rid of due process, checks and balances, individual rights, and, eventually, democracy, to make sure immigrants don't want to come here.

    * But I'll ignore all that and
    ^This.

But then they (we) will need a system to let at least 75% of those people back.

"Who knew immigration reform was so difficult? Derrr."

Not if we can get 14 year olds to work 60 hours a week! And make fewer people in their 70s retire.

If an immigrant has no criminal record, and is awaiting an asylum hearing, what crime has he or she committed?

Poster simply responds with whatever the right wing crap sources spew, so you won't get anymore than a deflection in the form of a gif at most. The supreme irony is the complaint that "the left" poorly defends criminals ( immigrants) and then doesn't defend that claim when asked to clarify. But somehow that makes "the left" .... " a very sick and derange group of people." Priceless.

Yet you support someone who organized the rally led the riot telling his cult to march down there and fight like hell

I support the person who was running against the democrats. That doesn't mean I approve of everything he might have done.

Honestly, I consider ICE agents carrying out these orders to be complicit in the evil they’re helping to perpetrate. Maybe they’re not Stephen Miller evil, but comlicit nonetheless.

They even sent a young bakery worker with no gang ties to El Salvador because of his tattoo. What was it? An autism awareness tattoo he got in honor of his autistic brother.

You really missed the mark there. I’ve voted for more Republicans than Democrats on the national scale. I’ve also voted for as many Libertarians as Democrats.

The true gift of being independent is the ability to engage in critical thinking. Both of our parties currently lack this, and we as a Country are far worse because of it.
