I found the article to be accurate from what we saw on the field and during the game. It's a shame that GC is being petty.
Gainesville is full of young writers trying to make their name wherever they can. Perspective comes many years later.
All of this is 100% accurate. Napier is a one-dimensional OC, and one-dimensional coach. Stricklin should be brought up on charges for derailing the athletic programs in that school.
If that is the case, then every team that runs play action is relying on deception. Our only TD had nothing to do with deception. It had to do with our WR just being better than their DB. I thought we had some mismatches with height out there we could have exploited but didn't, A better WB, like Trask, can throw guys open. Mertz isn't there. At least not yet, but I don't know that Billy's offense works that way.
I think they drew up that play to have the tightest coverage on our scoring receiver they could possibly have, and then because of the height of a receiver. He still went up and got the ball.
I'm wondering if BN's O scheme is sophisticated enough to be effective. It just seems that most of our wr's are covered and that he relies far too much on a control generated offense that steadily moves the chains. That means lots of short and medium passes. I'm not sure our O is disciplined enough to go on long drives without making some kind of mistake. Further, practicing that style means needing a quick score is almost non existent. That is why I so want BN to hire a competent OC, let BN be the CEO but to for whatever reason to not find an OC and ST coordinator while seeming wasting a resource of using 2 OL coaches is almost like DM not fixing glaring problems. I want BN for many reasons to stay but he's got to help himself.
