Hurting a rival while benefiting yourself is a cutthroat mentality that Kirby has. The problem is his daddy Saban does the same to him...I want a coach whose aim is to compete day in day out with the best. If Napier isnt it, he will be replaced.

Then why did he fight so desperately for so long to be able to bring recruits to the FL-GA game? There are lots of teams who view us as a rival (fsu, GA, TN, LSU, Miami..). Georgia has no real annual rival except us. They play Ga Tech during rivalry week, for Pete's sake. Smart cares deeply about what he does against us.

Well, it wasn’t obvious so his post was justified. I’ve always loved when someone says something with a serious tone without any indication it is a joke. Then when someone takes it seriously, they spin it back on them that they are overreacting and need to lighten up.

It’s interesting to think about NIL contribution, meet and greet situations from fans and then having those same players go to a rival school.

 

This is exactly the sort of thing that will poison college football. There will now be two camps on every team. The kids who are playing football while earning their degree, and the small cadre who are perpetually in the wind.

You tell me you are a Gator and I ask "what is your major?" If it is a nonsense field I doubt your assertion.

And the more "my" team depends on those types of players the less I care about it all.

 

Dude was gone mid season when his brother and family were salty about his carries. He used florida for everything he could the rest of the way. Great runner. I enjoyed watching but he had his hand in losses. Stay in bounds buddy. We won one after he did that in a previous game and lost another. He'll do well for Georgia but he will have a ceiling in the NFL. Screams drama

 

I thought about the same. Time to include clauses for return of NIL in case kid transfer

 

Probably pretty possible aside from the fact he will get to face us. Who knows we might stuff him or he might break UGA’s single game rushing record and be the final straw in the Napier regime. It’s really disappointing but I wouldn’t expect much less.
